The full details

  1. 01

    Describe the job

Answer a few questions written for that service: what's broken, what size, how many. No long forms.

  2. 02

    Pick your artisan

You only see artisans who travel to your address and are free at the time you chose, each with their price for your exact job and reviews from real Fixgent jobs.

  3. 03

    They accept, you pay

Your artisan has up to 4 hours to accept. If they can't, pick someone else in two taps. Then you pay online; Fixgent holds the money until the job is done.

  4. 04

    Job done, you review

Chat with your artisan in the booking. Anything extra needs your approval in the app. When it's done, you leave a review.

Pricing

You see the price before you book.

  • Fixed prices for routine jobs. Servicing, installations and cleaning are priced per unit or per room, and you see each artisan's total for your job.
  • Faults: inspection first. Pay a small inspection fee; your artisan diagnoses and sends a fixed repair price. Go ahead and the fee is taken off, or say no and pay only the inspection.
  • 10% Fixgent service fee covers secure payment, support and payment protection. Shown before you confirm.
  • Nothing extra without your OK. Parts or extra work are added in the app, with the price, and only go ahead when you approve.

Trust

Checked before their first job.

  • ID-checked: a government ID, a live selfie and a face match before an artisan can take bookings.
  • The Fixgent Promise. Not done right? Report it within 48 hours for a redo or refund, or within 7 days for a free redo. How it works.
  • Reviews come only from completed bookings. No paid or imported ratings.
  • Everything in one place. Chat, times and payments stay in the booking, so there's a record if anything goes wrong.
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. See the policy.
