Why bedbugs cost so much more

Bedbug eggs survive a single spray, so effective treatment needs at least two visits a couple of weeks apart, plus work on mattresses, furniture joints and wall cracks. A cheap one-off spray for bedbugs is usually money wasted.

What changes the price

Pest. Cockroaches and ants are cheapest; bedbugs, termites and rodents cost more.
Area. Island locations (VI, Ikoyi, Lekki) are usually priced higher than Ikeja or Surulere.
Chemicals. Ask what product is used and how long you need to stay out.
Follow-up. Check whether a second visit is included if the pests come back.
