Original, OEM or copy?
The same repair can differ by several times in price depending on the part. Original screens match the phone's brightness, colour and touch response. Copy screens are cheaper but can be dimmer, drain the battery faster or stop responding. Ask which grade you are getting and whether it has a warranty.
Avoid common problems
- Back up your phone and remove the SIM and memory card before the repair.
- Test touch, brightness, Face ID or fingerprint, and the earpiece before you pay.
- Ask for the old screen back if you want proof it was replaced.
- Be wary of very low prices for flagship screens; counterfeit parts are common.

See pricesQuestions people ask
Is it worth fixing an old phone's screen?
If the repair costs more than half the phone's value, compare it with buying a replacement. Many people still fix mid-range phones because the data and setup matter.
How long does a screen replacement take?
Often under an hour for common models if the part is in stock.
Will a new screen affect water resistance?
Usually yes, unless the repairer replaces the seal properly. Don't rely on water resistance after a repair.
